She was married to David Zephier, Sr.

SherwynZ is something of an authority on that family and didnt the name change from Rencoutre. There is much writing about the Zephiers in Remember your Relatives vol 1 and 2. I think it might say more about his wife. I will and see what I have.

Hello. This is what I have on Mary Dion. She was married to my Grandfather, David Zephier, Sr. She was his first wife. Her father was Samuel Dion, mother is Tasunkemaniwin.
She married David Zephier and they had 8 children: Joseph, David, Jr., Melissa, Susan, Wallace, Willis, Ellis and Mary May. I have family tree of her relatives if you'd like a copy. Give your email address and I'll attach it and send it to you via email. SZ
